Five things I hate … some links
By Bradford Doolittle. Filed in Uncategorized |I’m in an overwhelmingly negative frame of mind today. So what better time to list five things that really annoy me? This is off the top of my head, five items from an almost infinite list:
1) Having to leave the house at least five times a week. Really doesn’t seem right.
2) The garbage that people toss into my yard when they drive by on Wyoming Street or as they walk by on the sidewalk. The downside of living in a vibrant urban neighborhood. What possesses somebody to throw garbage into somebody’s yard? Anyone who does is severely deficient as a human being.
3) Anything by Def Lepperd or 38 Special. Nothing can get me to change the radio station faster. In fact, it’s such a reflex action at this point, I’m concerned about wrecking my car because of it.
4) Being spoken to when I’m in a bad mood. Which is often. I can’t blame people from doing it but sometimes when somebody starts talking to me, I feel like the veins in my head are going to burst.
5) Receiving compliments. Think this is a good blog? Go screw yourself.
And for the links … I wrote about the Pau Gasol deal for B-Pro. In response, I received an email from a blogging coach. Good nuts and bolts analysis of how Gasol will fit into the triangle. I don’t think I ever linked to my column on Kevin Durant and the rookie of the year race. Here is a Web site devoted exclusively to Henry Miller, the dean of my personal pantheon. As far as I know, it’s the only site of its kind in cyberspace.
Cheers.

I would add Cheap Trick to that list.
